Flaunting and Fluff

This page is devoted to high scores. Do you have an impressive score? Do you have proof? I want to know.

To submit a high score, send me the score, and a photo or screen capture of the registration screen, the one where you're putting-in your initials. (Example below.) Entries that are, or appear to have been, manually modified (i.e., fraudulent) will be rejected.

If you play Food Fight with MAME, then I am also interested in high score INP files (game "record" files that MAME can generate). I plan to post one or two of my own soon (I've just been playing very poorly lately).

My High Score

I exceeded this high score in early 2000, but didn't screen capture it... But here's one attempt, showing 1,679,100 points, and was attained on January 11, 1998:

As you can probably tell from the cone color, I got to Level 102 (vanilla, coffee, chocolate) with this particular score.

Other High Scores

Mike Affourtit submitted his high score of 2,300,700. Here's a screen shot:

As good as you good at a game, there's always someone right behind you who's better. Mike's score is proof. (Heavy sigh.) Mike notes that he attained this score on MAME using a mouse, not a joystick, as if the score alone wasn't quite enough gloating as it was! (Mike had a Food Fight web page at one point, but it's no longer working.)
